Potato Balls with Cheese and Ham

A delicious side dish that you can serve with your meals when you make this recipe for potato balls with cheese and ham, they are very tasty and crispy.

  • 1 kilo potato
  • 150 grams deli ham
  • 250 grams Manchego cheese, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cups wheat flour
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • water
  • vegetable oil

  • Place water in a pot and bring it to medium heat, add a little salt and the peeled potatoes. Reduce the heat and cook them for about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and mash. Let it cool
  • Add the ham cut into small cubes to the mash, mix well and form small balls, placing one or two cubes of cheese in the center.
  • Beat the egg and place the breadcrumbs on a plate, roll the balls in the flour, then the egg and then the breadcrumbs, fry them in oil and once golden, remove and place them on a plate with paper towels, let cool a bit and enjoy!
