Bacon-Wrapped Potatoes

Surprise your guests with this baked potato snack; they are a delight and very easy to prepare with ingredients you have at home.

  • 16 new potatoes, cooked and drained
  • 16 slices smoked bacon
  • 1/2 cups corn oil
  • 1 pinch salt, and pepper

  • Heat the oil over high heat in a small saucepan.
  • Dry the potatoes thoroughly with paper towels and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Wrap each one with a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick to prevent the bacon from falling off.
  • Fry in hot oil until the bacon is crispy.
  • Remove excess fat with paper towels.
