Baked Potatoes with Ham and Cheese

This delicious recipe is easy to prepare and can serve as a side dish or main course.

  • 5 potatoes, large
  • 200 grams deli ham
  • 150 grams Oaxaca cheese, or manchego
  • 125 grams low-fat sour cream
  • 1 sprig parsley
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • salt, Salt and pepper to taste

  • In a pot with water and salt, boil the potatoes; you can poke them with a fork and if it goes in easily, they are cooked. Cool, peel, and slice thinly.
  • Cut the ham and cheese into small cubes. Finely chop the parsley.
  • Grease the baking dish with butter and place a layer of potato slices, add salt to taste, add the ham and cheese, cover the layer with cream, and sprinkle a little parsley. Repeat the process until all ingredients are used or the dish is filled.
  • Preheat the oven to 180º Celsius and bake until the cheese and cream are gratinated, approximately 10 minutes.
