Breaded Potato Balls

The recipe for breaded potato balls is the perfect snack, easy, delicious, and economical. Potato bombs are very simple to prepare and have a great flavor. It's a delicious breaded and fried potato puree.

  • 1 liter Oléico® safflower oil
  • 500 grams potato
  • 1/4 cups cow's milk
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 egg
  • flour, necessary amount
  • breadcrumbs, necessary amount
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste

  • Peel and cut the potato into small cubes. Boil it in a pot with salt. Once soft, drain the water and mash it into a puree. Return the puree to the stove, add a teaspoon of oil and the milk. Stir for 5 minutes and remove from heat. Once cooled, mix in the cup of cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir.
  • Place the flour on a plate. Beat an egg in a bowl. In another bowl, combine the breadcrumbs.
  • With a spoon, take some of the potato puree and place it in the palm of your hands to form a ball. Repeat this step with the remaining puree.
  • Coat the balls in flour, then dip in egg, and finally in breadcrumbs.
  • Heat the oil in a pot. Once hot, fry the potatoes, adding a few balls at a time. Once fried, place them on absorbent paper. Serve hot.
