Ham and Mashed Potato Taquitos

This recipe for ham and mashed potato taquitos is a delicious and easy-to-make healthy appetizer.

  • 12 slices turkey deli ham
  • 1 box mashed potatoes, instant
  • 4 turkey sausage
  • 250 grams Manchego cheese, shredded, low-fat
  • dried basil, to taste, for decoration
  • parsley, dry, to taste
  • olive oil, to taste for decoration
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Prepare the mashed potatoes as instructed on the box, and set aside covered to keep warm.
  • Sauté the sausages in a pan with a little olive oil, and remove them when they are lightly browned. Chop them into small cubes and add them to the mashed potatoes we made earlier along with the cheese, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, parsley, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything and set aside covered so the cheese melts with the heat of the preparation.
  • On a platter, we will assemble the taquitos. Take a slice of ham and fill it with 2 or 3 tablespoons of the mashed potatoes we made, and continue assembling the 12 taquitos.
  • Once the 12 taquitos are ready, decorate the top with dried basil and olive oil to taste.
