Traditional French Fries

Cut the potatoes in French fry style, marinate for 1 hour, and fry in plenty of sunflower oil, then place them on absorbent paper and serve with tomato sauce (ketchup). Delicious.

  • 2 kilos potato
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 onions
  • 10 allspice berries
  • salt, to taste
  • ketchup, for accompanying
  • 3 glasses water

  • To marinate the potatoes: grind the garlic, onion, pepper, and salt to taste in 3 cups of water, cut the potatoes into French fry style, and marinate for one hour. Fry in plenty of sunflower oil and drain on paper towels.
  • Serves as a side dish for any meal or simply for kids on vacation.
