Rice with Arabic Noodles

Rice with Arabic noodles is an easy dish to make that contains rice, vermicelli noodles, oil, and salt.

  • 1/2 cups vermicelli, rice noodles
  • 2 cups long grain rice
  • 1 tablespoon coarse salt
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • In a pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat and brown the vermicelli (be careful not to burn them).
  • Add the rice and mix well. Add salt and 3 cups of water, then increase the heat to high and let it boil.
  • Once it boils, reduce the heat to low, cover, and allow the rice to cook for 30 minutes or until the rice is done.
