Fry some finely chopped garlic in a bit of oil, and once it's golden, add the finely chopped green onions. Then add the peas, cook for 5 more minutes, and add the sausage.
Once the sausage is golden, add the rice, salt, water, and a tablespoon of margarine. Cover and let it cook on low heat for about 20 minutes or until the water has been absorbed.
To serve, slice the egg and place it on top of the rice.
