Curry Rice

Curry is a mixture of more or less spicy spices developed in Asian, Eastern and Southeastern Asian cuisines.

  • 2 cups white rice
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 white onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic and onion, finely chopped
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup soybean sprouts
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1 can smoked oysters
  • 15 centimeters fresh ginger

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Sauté the onion and garlic, being careful not to burn them.
  • Remove the skin from the ginger using a spoon and sauté.
  • Add the rice and cook until it becomes translucent.
  • Pour in the chicken broth, season with a little salt, and sprinkle the curry.
  • Lower the heat when it starts to boil and add the oysters.
  • Cook for 15 minutes or until the rice is cooked. Adjust seasoning.
  • Remove from heat and mix in the soybean sprouts and chopped parsley.
  • Serve in a large bowl.
