Cilantro Rice in Pressure Cooker

  • 2 cups rice
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 pinch salt, and pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 onions, finely chopped
  • 3 1/2 cups water, boiling
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1 cube chicken bullion

  • Put the oil in the pot, once it's hot add the onion and garlic. Sauté, add the dry rice and mix for 3 minutes.
  • Add the salt, pepper, cilantro, and chicken broth, mix.
  • Add the boiling water; the rice must start to boil immediately after adding the water. When it starts boiling, cover the pot, and when the steam is strong, place the valve and cook under pressure for 6 minutes.
  • Carefully uncover and serve.
