Wash the rice until the water is clear, drain well. Heat oil in a medium pot over medium heat and fry the rice, stirring gently to avoid breaking it. It should take on a slightly golden color (very light) and the grains will separate from each other. Remove excess oil if necessary.
Pour in the water and let it come to a boil, then empty the contents of the Knorr® MiArroz® Rojo packet.
Let it come to a boil and reduce the heat to the lowest setting.
Cover and let cook for 20 minutes until the water is completely reduced.
