You can add any vegetable to the rice to make it a more complete and nutritious dish. In this recipe, I'll show you how to do it with corn and bell pepper.

2 tablespoons butter
1 can corn kernels
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 cups chicken bullion
1 green bell pepper, cut into cubes

With a little oil, fry the rice; when it sizzles, add the broth, then add the bell pepper; let it cook on low heat until done.
When there are 5 minutes left for the rice to be cooked, add the corn kernels.
