To start your meals with lots of flavor, prepare this recipe for white rice with hearts of palm and artichokes; it will add a special touch to all your meals.
Follow the package instructions. Rinse the rice until the water runs clear, drain well. Heat oil in a medium pot over medium heat and sauté the rice gently, avoiding breaking it. It should take on a slightly golden color (very light) and the grains will separate from each other. Remove excess oil if necessary.
Pour in the water and the contents of the Knorr® MiArroz® Blanco packet. Let it come to a boil and reduce the heat to the lowest setting.
Cover and cook for 20 minutes or until the liquid has been completely absorbed. Allow to cool completely.
Mix lemon juice, oil, and pepper to make a simple vinaigrette, season lightly.
Combine the vinaigrette with the rice, hearts of palm, and artichoke hearts.
