Quick and Easy Paella

  • 3 cups Sos® parboiled rice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup paprika, chopped red pepper
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped pieces
  • 3 cups chicken bullion
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 500 grams shellfish, cooked and frozen
  • 250 grams sausages, cooked sliced
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1 cup carrot

  • Heat the oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the paprika, onion, and garlic. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring frequently. Add the chicken broth, turmeric, seafood, and sausages. Cook until boiling.
  • Add the rice, peas, and carrots; cover it. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Let it rest for 5 minutes.
  • Preparation method and cooking time: 1 Cup of Rice 1 Cup of Water= 2 Servings.
  • Stove preparation method: 1. Bring water to a boil in a saucepan and add the rice. Stir gently. 2. Let it simmer for 5 minutes. 3. After removing from heat, fluff with a fork and let it rest covered.
