Chinese Rice

  • 6 cups Sos® calrose rice (sushi)
  • 250 grams chicken breast, or ham
  • soy sauce, to taste
  • vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 10 sprigs chives, chopped
  • 3 carrots, chopped
  • 2 pumpkins, chopped
  • 2 cups soybean sprouts
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons chicken broth

  • Slice the chicken very thin and mix with soy sauce.
  • Beat the eggs and cook them in a hot skillet with a little oil, chop it and set aside.
  • Fry onion in 3 tablespoons of oil for 10 minutes, add the chicken and fry for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and keep warm.
  • In the same skillet, add oil and fry the other vegetables until ready, then remove from heat.
  • Heat a large skillet, add 2 tablespoons of oil, add the rice and stir for one minute. Add salt and broth. Stir for 2 more minutes.
  • Add the onion, chicken, egg, and vegetables and mix carefully. Serve hot.
