1 kilo potato, peeled, washed, and in strips
salt, to taste

Pour the vegetable oil into a pot or fryer and heat the oil to 180 degrees Celsius.
Cut the potatoes into strips.
Fry the potatoes in batches until they are lightly golden, approximately 5 minutes per batch.
Pour the potatoes onto paper towels to absorb the grease, sprinkle the potatoes with salt, and serve.
