Vegetable Stew

Nothing better than a homemade beef stew, full of different and delicious vegetables that will make your meal unforgettable. Prepare it!

  • 2 cubes Knorr® beef bouillon
  • 1 eggplant, cut into thick half-moons
  • 2 carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup potato, cut into small cubes
  • 1/2 cups onion, cut into thin strips
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 cup broccoli, disinfected, cut into florets
  • 1/2 cups button mushrooms, clean, quartered
  • 1 sprig celery, washed and disinfected, without leaves
  • 6 tablespoons Primavera® Cook Without Salt margarine
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 cups water, hot

  • In a medium pot over medium heat, melt the Margarina Primavera® Cocina Sin Sal and sauté the garlic and onion. Then add and mix in the potato and carrot, cooking and stirring constantly for 5 minutes.
  • Add and mix in the eggplant and cook for a couple of minutes. Add the celery and then the mushrooms, integrating everything well and cooking while stirring occasionally for five minutes.
  • Dissolve the Knorr® Caldo Sabor Res cubes perfectly in 1 1/2 cups of water. Pour it into the pot and add the broccoli. Mix everything well to season evenly. Dissolve the Maizena® Regular Cornstarch in the remaining half cup of water, pour it into the pot, mix, and boil to thicken.
  • Remove from heat and let rest for a couple of minutes. Serve hot.
