  • 3/4 kilos Brussels sprouts
  • 1/4 cups olive oil
  • 3/4 teaspoons sea ​​salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/2 cups macadamia nut, toasted

  • Preheat the oven to 375 ºF.
  • Cut the Brussels sprouts from the stem and remove the brown and yellow leaves from the outside. Cut in half.
  • In a large bowl, mix the oil, salt, pepper, and add the Brussels sprouts until they are coated. Place on a baking sheet.
  • Put in the oven for 15 minutes. Toss the Brussels sprouts with a spatula to brown on all sides and continue baking for another 30 minutes. Stir again and drizzle with the maple syrup. Finish baking for an additional 15 minutes or until tender (the total cooking time in the oven is 45 minutes).
  • Mix the Brussels sprouts with the macadamia nuts and serve hot.
