Honey Glazed Carrots

Nothing like a good side dish to accompany your main courses. These caramelized carrots are incredibly easy to make, and their flavor pairs perfectly with turkey, pork loin, chicken, and beef steak.

  • 1 kilo carrot, small or baby
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons raw sugar
  • 1 bunch fresh parsley
  • 1 lime
  • 1 pinch salt

  • Melt the butter in a skillet.
  • Wash the carrots thoroughly; if desired, you can peel them.
  • Add them to the skillet, pour in the honey and sugar. Let them glaze perfectly; to do this, shake the skillet or flip them with a wooden spatula.
  • When they are about to reach the desired texture, squeeze the lemon.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve immediately, sprinkle with finely chopped parsley.
