Heat one tablespoon of vegetable oil in a medium-sized skillet.
Add half of the onion and the garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add the huitlacoche and cook for 5 minutes or until well cooked. Season with salt and pepper and pour into a deep plate.
Add the cream, mix well, and serve.
