Jalapeño Peppers Stuffed with Mexican Tuna

These jalapeño peppers stuffed with Mexican tuna are a great idea for a delicious and simple snack, as they are very easy to make and are also crunchy and spicy. Don’t forget to prepare them!

  • 16 Jalapeño chiles
  • 2 cans tuna, 130 g each
  • 2 tomatoes, cut into small cubes
  • 1/4 red onions, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons white pepper
  • 2 sprigs fresh cilantro, for garnish

  • In a pot with boiling water and salt, cook the jalapeños for 5 minutes or until soft. Drain and cool.
  • Carefully open the chiles in the middle and remove the seeds, being careful not to break them. Set aside.
  • In a bowl, mix the tuna with the tomato, onion, mayonnaise, mustard, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Stuff the jalapeños with the tuna mixture and garnish with cilantro leaves. Serve.
