Breaded Onion Rings

We all love breaded onion rings to accompany a burger or a hot dog; this side dish is delicious and perfect for a barbecue.

  • 1 onion, cut into rings about 1.5 cm thick
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 baking powder
  • 1 cup cow's milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pinch salt
  • vegetable oil, for frying

  • Separate the onion rings.
  • In a bowl, mix the salt, bread crumbs, baking powder, and flour. Divide this mixture into 2. Leave the first part as is, and beat the egg and milk into the second part.
  • Dip all the onion rings first into the mixture without egg and then into the one with egg.
  • Fry them in the oil.
