3 onions, large
2 tablespoons butter
2 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 cups white wine

Slice the onion into thin slices.
Melt the butter in a skillet and add the onion.
Sauté the onion, add the sugar, and cook on low heat.
Add 1/3 of white wine and cook until it evaporates. Repeat the process.
Let it cool and use it for whatever you desire.
