White Rice Ring

A very Mexican recipe, I recommend you prepare this recipe for white rice filled with vegetables and cream cheese, you will love it and amaze your guests.

  • 1 1/2 cups Sos® kids rice
  • 190 grams cream cheese
  • 1 Poblano chile, in slices
  • 1 cup corn kernels
  • 1 zucchini, cooked and cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1/4 onions, finely chopped
  • 1 sprig parsley
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped

  • Heat the oil and fry the rice until slightly golden along with the garlic and onion; remove excess fat and set aside.
  • Add the boiling water, parsley sprig, and powdered broth; cover and cook on low heat for 25 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed.
  • Place half of the rice in a greased ring mold, pressing down with a spoon; spread the vegetables and cream cheese cubes.
  • Add the rest of the rice and press down with a spoon. Unmold and serve.
  • Garnish with vegetables and parsley on top.
