White Rice with Carrots and Peas

  • 1 1/2 cups rice, soaked in hot water and drained
  • 3 tablespoons Primavera® Cook Without Salt margarine
  • 3 1/4 cups water
  • 1/4 onions
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 cube Knorr® granulated chicken bouillon
  • 1 cup carrot, cooked and diced
  • 1 cup peas, cooked

  • Drain and dry the rice thoroughly. Melt the Margarina Primavera® Cocina sin sal and fry the rice until it is slightly golden.
  • Separately, blend 1 cup of water with the onion, garlic, and Knorr® Suiza Chicken Bouillon cube.
  • Pour the above into the pot with the rice and cook over medium-low heat for 5 minutes.
  • Add the remaining water, increase the heat, and wait for it to come to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat to minimum, cover, and cook on low for 15 minutes.
  • Add the vegetables, mix carefully, and cook covered for 10 more minutes or until the rice is well cooked and the water has completely evaporated.
