Cheese Dip for Nachos

  • 2 cloves garlic, shelled
  • 1/4 onions
  • 2 cuaresmeño chiles, no seeds, no tail
  • 2 cups cream cheese, in cubes
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 cup Manchego cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons butter, in cubes
  • 1/3 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cups Hunt's® Bravas Wings Spicy Sauce
  • cheese flavored corn chips, To accompany
  • crudité, To accompany

  • Roast the garlic, onion and Cuaresmeño peppers in a comal over medium heat until they change color, stirring constantly so that cooking is uniform. Once ready, remove from heat and reserve.
  • Process the chiles, onion and garlic in a bowl with the help of a hand processor, then add the cream cheese and continue processing until the lumps are removed. Mix the mozzarella cheese with the Manchego cheese and the cornstarch until very well integrated.
  • Melt the butter in a semi-deep skillet over medium heat, then add the cream cheese mixture you made in the previous step and add the grated cheese mixture. Pour the milk, integrate and cook until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
  • Before the sauce thickens, pour the Hunt's® Bravas Hot Sauce, mix again and cook over low heat for at least 6 minutes. Once the cheese dip for nachos is ready, serve immediately, accompany with cheese-flavored corn fritters and crudités to taste.
