This onion dip is a classic with a twist, and it is also ideal to serve at parties and gatherings, since it can be enjoyed with your favorite snacks. The best of all? It is easy to prepare!
Heat a saucepan over medium-low heat and add the butter, onion, brown sugar and Kikkoman® Soy Sauce. Stir constantly until the volume has reduced by 75% and the color has turned a deep brown. Remove from heat and reserve. Let cool at room temperature.
Place the caramelized onions, sour cream, cream cheese, garlic powder, white pepper, and onion powder in a bowl and mix well with a spatula. Season with a little Kikkoman® Soy Sauce and add the chopped spring onion stalks.
Serve the onion dip in a bowl, sprinkle with spring onion stalks and sesame seeds and serve with French fries and toasted bread.
