Bean Cream with Panela Cheese

This bean cream recipe will always get you out of any jam at mealtime; its texture and flavor are incomparable. Try it at mealtime, you will love it.

  • 2 cups black beans, cooked in its broth
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted margarine, LALA®
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 cups table cream, LALA®
  • 2 pinches salt
  • 1 cup tortillas, cut into strips and fried
  • 1 cup panela cheese, LALA®
  • 4 pasilla chiles, cut into strips and fried

  • Blend the cooked beans with a little of the cooking liquid in a blender, set aside.
  • Heat unsalted LALA® margarine in a medium pot and fry the garlic until it changes color. Be careful not to burn it.
  • Add the ground beans and cook over low heat for 5 minutes.
  • Add the LALA® half cream, mix perfectly, and season. Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Serve the cream in a deep plate, place some of the fried tortilla and the LALA® panela cheese cut into cubes.
  • Garnish with strips of fried chili.
