Bean Soup

If you crave a bean soup, you have to try this recipe; we added pumpkin and carrot to give it a spectacular flavor that your family will love.

  • 2 cubes Knorr® granulated chicken bouillon
  • 11/2 cups black beans, cooked
  • 2 tomatoes, cut into quarters
  • 1/4 cups onion, cut into medium cubes
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 pumpkin, cut into small cubes
  • 1 carrot, sliced thinly
  • 3 cups water

  • In a pot over medium heat, lightly roast the onion along with the garlic and tomato. Remove from heat and blend thoroughly with the beans and water. Strain and return to the pot.
  • Raise the heat and add the cubes of Knorr® Switzerland Chicken Broth. Bring to a boil.
  • Once boiling, add the pumpkin and carrot. Boil for 5 more minutes. Remove from heat, cover, and let rest for a couple of minutes. Serve immediately.
