Cabbage Soup for the Diet

This soup is the base of the Cabbage Soup Diet with which one can lose up to 4 kilos in just 7 days of the diet. This soup can be eaten in desired quantities during the 7 days along with the daily menu.

  • 1/2 heads cabbage
  • 6 onions, chopped
  • 2 green bell peppers, chopped
  • 2 cans tomato
  • 3 carrots, chopped
  • 100 grams button mushrooms, chopped
  • 4 sprigs celery
  • 4 tablespoons dry chicken broth or bouillon
  • 1 can vegetable juice
  • garlic, in pieces

  • In a large pot, heat 1 tablespoon of oil and sauté the onion for 5 minutes.
  • Add all the diced vegetables to the pot.
  • Add 12 cups of water and bring to a boil for 1 hour or until the cabbage is very tender.
