Chard Soup

This delicious chard, potato and carrot soup is perfect to make at home. Provide a delicious dish to your whole family. It's perfect to start the meal. Do not let it pass.

  • 1 bunch chard
  • 5 carrots, peeled
  • 4 potatoes, median
  • 5 slices bacon
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted margarine
  • 1/2 onions, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 teaspoons chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 liters water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt

  • Cut the chard into small pieces and reserve.
  • Cut the potatoes and carrots into cubes.
  • Cut the bacon into pieces of an inch.
  • Cut the garlic and onion into thin slices.
  • Add the margarine to the saucepan, add the onion and garlic. Acitrona well and add the bacon. When it begins to brown, add the potato and carrot until they are well fried.
  • Add the water and the broth with the salt to the saucepan; stir the ingredients well. Boil for 20 minutes and add the chard. Return to cover the pan and let boil until the vegetables are cooked.
  • Enjoy hot and with lemon.
