  • 1 cup hen
  • 1 cup bacon
  • 1 cup serrano ham, in point
  • 2 cups bone marrow
  • 1 1/2 cups chickpeas, soaked and clean
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 turnip
  • 4 potatoes
  • salt
  • 1/2 cups fideo pasta, thin noodle
  • 1 cup cabbage
  • 1/2 cups chorizo
  • 1/2 cups rice blood sausage

  • In a pot with water, cook the meats, the ham hock, and the bones; when it starts to boil, add the chickpeas; after the second boil, add the carrot, the turnip, and cook for 1 hour.
  • Add the potato and cook for approximately 1 more hour or until all the ingredients are tender. Season with salt. Strain and with the same broth, cook the noodles. Set aside.
  • In a small pot, boil the cabbage. Drain and set aside.
  • In a pan, cook the chorizo and the blood sausage.
  • Serve the broth with the noodles, the chickpeas, the vegetables, and the meats.
