1 liter water
4 artichoke
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons onion, chopped
3 tablespoons wheat flour
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 can evaporated milk
1 1/2 tablespoons granulated chicken bouillon

Boil the water and add the artichokes; cook for 20 minutes or until the leaves come off easily.
Remove from heat and drain.
Remove the outer leaves from each artichoke, and with scissors, cut off the tips where the thorns are; set aside.
Heat the butter.
Fry the onion with the garlic, add the artichokes and cook for 5 minutes.
Blend the Evaporated Milk with the artichokes, the remaining water, the flour, and the Chicken Bouillon cubes.
Strain and return to the heat.
Continue cooking for 15 more minutes or until it thickens slightly.
Remove from heat and serve.
