Asparagus Cream

A very tasty way to start a meal or dinner is with a warm and delicious asparagus cream. Its creamy flavor and texture will make you the star of the occasion. Prepare it and surprise everyone.

  • 2 cubes Knorr® granulated chicken bouillon
  • 1 bunch asparagus, cleaned, disinfected, and cut into quarters
  • 1/2 cups white onion, cut into medium cubes
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 cups low-fat milk
  • 1 tablespoon Maizena® cornstarch
  • 1/4 cups water
  • 1/8 bunches chives, finely chopped

  • In a saucepan with oil, sauté the onion until translucent. Add the asparagus and cook them lightly with the onion, stirring constantly.
  • Remove from heat and blend perfectly with the milk and Knorr® Suiza Chicken Broth. Strain and return to heat.
  • Dissolve the Maizena® Regular Cornstarch perfectly in the water and integrate it into the cream. Let it boil to thicken. Serve hot and garnish with finely chopped chives.
