Brandy Mushroom Cream with Fried Yellow Onion

1 yellow onion, sliced thinly
4 tablespoons brandy
1 pinch salt
1 pinch black pepper
1 can cream of mushroom, Campbells® (430 g)
1 cup water
1 cup cow's milk
4 teaspoons chives, finely chopped

In a small pot, heat the butter over low heat. Add the onion and cook for 5 minutes.
Incorporate the brandy and cook until reduced to ¾ parts to evaporate the alcohol.
Season with salt and pepper and cook over medium heat, add Campbells® mushroom cream, water, and milk. Mix well and let it boil for 5 more minutes.
Serve in a deep plate and garnish with the chives.
