Cream with Mexican Flavor

This recipe is crafted to enjoy the delights of the flavors of our beloved Mexico. It is a rich cream with an explosion of traditional Mexican cuisine flavors. It’s exquisite!

  • 1 can sour cream, Herdez® corn cream
  • 4 pumpkins
  • 1 bunch zucchini blossoms
  • 1/4 onions
  • 1/2 teaspoons garlic
  • 1/2 liters cow's milk
  • 50 grams chapulines
  • 2 tablespoons lard
  • salt, to taste
  • croutons, to taste

  • Chop zucchini, zucchini flowers, and onion; these are partially cooked.
  • Once cooked, add the garlic and blend until you have a uniform mixture.
  • In a saucepan, heat the lard, then pour in the blended mixture and add the Herdez corn cream.
  • Blend the milk with the grasshoppers, strain, and add to our boiling cream.
