Creamy Celery Soup

A creamy yet light celery soup, delicious as an appetizer for a nice meal. It's a very tasty and nutritious preparation, perfect for the little ones at home.

  • 25 grams butter
  • 12 stems celery, peeled and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 liter water
  • 1 liter cow's milk
  • 2 tablespoons granulated chicken bouillon
  • 1/2 cups sour cream
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste

  • Melt the butter and sauté the celery.
  • Blend half of the celery with water.
  • Put the flour with the chopped celery over heat, stirring constantly until the flour is cooked.
  • Add the ground celery, milk, and powdered consommé. Let it boil.
  • Before serving, add the cream and season with salt and pepper if necessary.
