Melt the butter and fry the celery.
Blend half of the celery with water.
Put the flour with the chopped celery in the fire moving constantly, until the flour is cooked.
Add ground celery, milk and powdered consommé. Let it boil.
Before serving add the cream and season with salt and pepper if necessary.
