Perfect Corn Cream

This is one of my favorite recipes, taught to me by my grandmother; I highly recommend it, it’s very delicious. And it has all the traditional flavor that I love.

  • 1 can sour cream, from Elote Herdez®
  • 1 onion, in cubes
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cans evaporated milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 clove garlic

  • First, heat a skillet in which you will sauté the corn (reserving some for decoration) with the onion and garlic, which should be in small cubes.
  • Once this mixture is ready, transfer it to the blender along with the can of Elote Herdez® cream, blending just enough.
  • Once everything is blended, leaving some corn chunks, transfer it to a previously heated skillet, where you will add our cream until it starts to warm up.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste, just don't overdo it with the pepper.
