Pistachio Cream with Camembert Cheese

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 onions
  • 1 sprig celery, chopped
  • 1/4 cups peas
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup pistachio Extra Special®
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1/2 cups camembert cheese
  • 1/4 cups white wine
  • 1 teaspoon Great Value® plain salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons pepper
  • 2 tablespoons pistachio Extra Special®, chopped for garnish

  • In a saucepan, heat two tablespoons of butter over medium heat, add the onion, celery, peas, and cook for 3 minutes. Pour in the chicken broth and cook until it reaches a boil, then let it cool.
  • Pour the previous mixture into the blender, add the pistachios, and the whipping cream, and the camembert cheese. Blend until you obtain a smooth and creamy consistency.
  • In a saucepan over low heat, add the two tablespoons of butter and pour in the cream, cook for 3 minutes, season with salt and pepper, add the white wine, and cook for 2 more minutes.
