100 grams bacon, chopped
3 potatoes
2 cups corn kernels, frozen
1 liter water, or chicken broth
1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
2 cups whipping cream

Peel the potatoes and cut them into 1 cm cubes. Heat the oil in a large pot. Brown the bacon for 7 minutes.
Add the potatoes and corn to the pot with the bacon, cook for 5 minutes, until the juices have evaporated, stirring to prevent burning.
Add chicken broth or water, bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and cook for an additional 25 minutes, until the potatoes are cooked.
Add the cream to the soup and keep on the heat for 5 more minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
