Rich Walnut Cream

Prepare this quick and delicious warm walnut cream, this recipe is very rich and ideal to start a delicious meal, the cream cheese combined with the walnut gives it a very creamy and rich flavor.

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 cups white onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cups celery, chopped
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth, or vegetables
  • 1 cup cow's milk
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cups whole pecans
  • bread, for accompaniment

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat with the oil and butter, cook the garlic, onion, leek, and walnut, season with salt and pepper, fill with broth and milk, and cook until it reaches boiling point. Remove from heat and cool.
  • Add the previous preparation to the blender with the cream cheese, blend until a smooth cream is obtained.
  • Return the blender preparation to a pot and cook until it reaches boiling point, serve in a deep plate, decorate with walnuts, and accompany with bread and enjoy.
