Walnut Mushroom Cream

It is a delicious mushroom cream accompanied by cream cheese balls with sesame seeds, wonderful as a starter for a nutritious meal or simply for a children's dinner.

  • 500 grams button mushrooms, chopped
  • 4 tablespoons walnuts, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 onions, chopped
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 100 grams cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon black sesame seeds
  • salt, to taste
  • white peppers, to taste

  • Melt the butter in a medium saucepan and add the onion, waiting for it to become translucent, then add the mushrooms and stir constantly until they turn golden.
  • In a blender, we put three tablespoons of walnuts, the mushrooms with the onion, and gradually add the chicken broth so that it can blend well. We should obtain a homogeneous and somewhat thick mixture.
  • If we still have chicken broth, we return it to the saucepan and let it boil, then add the cream and stir until everything is integrated.
  • With the cream cheese, we will make balls of approximately 2 cm and roll them in sesame seeds until they are completely covered.
