Brazilian Feijoada

  • 1/4 kilos pork ribs
  • 1/4 kilos pork
  • 1/4 kilos beef
  • 1 kilo pig feet
  • 1/2 kilos black beans, cooked and with broth
  • 1 leaf bay
  • white rice
  • tomato, chopped and seeded
  • chives, stalk, chopped
  • white onion, finely chopped

  • In a pressure cooker, place beans and cook for 45 minutes. Set aside.
  • In a pot with boiling water, place pork, beef, and onion, and cook for about 1.5 hours.
  • In a pot over medium heat, heat lard and add pork, pork ribs, beef, and pig feet, and fry for 5 minutes.
  • Add beans with broth and bay leaves and cook for 20 minutes over medium-low heat.
  • Serve feijoada with rice, chopped tomatoes, chopped chives stalks, and white onion.
