Easy Fish Soup

  • 2 tomatoes, poached
  • 3 allspice berries
  • 3 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cups onion
  • 1/2 cups carrot
  • 1/2 cups new potatoes
  • 1/2 cups red bell pepper
  • 2 cups fish, in large pieces
  • salt
  • pepper
  • lime, to accompany
  • tostadas, to accompany

  • Blend the tomato, the allspice, and the milk.
  • Add the butter, onion, carrot, baby potatoes, and red bell pepper to a pot and cook for a couple of minutes. Pour in the blended mixture and the fish, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 20 minutes.
