Elbow Macaroni with Cheese and Mushrooms

  • 3 cups button mushrooms, in halves
  • salt

  • 3 1/2 cups water, boiling, 800 ml
  • 1 box Coditos with La Moderna® cheese
  • oregano, for garnish

  • In a skillet, heat the butter and cook the mushrooms for 5 minutes over medium-high heat. Season with salt and pepper and set aside.
  • For the Elbow Macaroni with La Moderna® cheese, boil 3 ½ cups of water (800 ml) in a pot, pour in the pasta, the cheese packet, and stir. Let it boil, uncovered, for 15 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the mushrooms and stir, remember to reserve some for garnish.
  • Serve the macaroni and garnish with mushrooms and oregano.
