Legume Soup

The best way to start a delicious meal may be with this warm legume soup. It is full of flavor and nutrients as it contains chickpeas, lentils, peas, alfalfa, and soybean sprouts. Give it a try!

  • 2 cubes Knorr® beef bouillon
  • 1 cup chickpeas, cooked, salt-free
  • 1 cup lentils, cooked, salt-free
  • 1 cup peas, clean
  • 1 cup soybean sprouts
  • 1 cup alfalfa sprouts
  • 2 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 6 tablespoons Spring Margarine Chantilly® unsalted
  • 3 1/2 cups water

  • In a pot over medium heat, melt the Margarina Primavera Chantilly® Salt-Free and sauté the onion along with the garlic. Add the lentils, chickpeas, and peas.
  • Pour in the water, bring to a boil, and dissolve the Knorr® Beef Flavor Bouillon cubes.
  • Cook for 5 minutes over high heat. Remove from heat. Add and mix in the soybean and alfalfa sprouts. Let sit for 2 minutes and serve.
