Lentil Soup with Ham

  • 2 cans soup, of Lentils
  • 200 grams deli ham
  • 1/2 onions, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, diced
  • 1 leaf bay
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • croutons, garlic flavor to taste

  • Fry the onion and diced garlic in olive oil until translucent.
  • Add the diced ham so it can brown a little.
  • In a pot, pour the contents of the cans of lentil soup and the bay leaf, and bring the soup to a boil.
  • When it starts to boil, add the onion, garlic, and ham, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Lower the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, covering the pot.
  • Let the soup rest for 15 minutes.
  • Serve hot and enjoy.
