Ingredients

4 portions
  • 2 cans soup, Lentils
  • 200 grams ham
  • 1/2 onions, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 leave bay
  • salt, to taste
  • black pepper, to taste
  • croutons, garlic flavor to taste

Preparation

You fry the onion and minced garlic in olive oil until transparent.
Add the diced ham to brown it a little.
In an empty pot the content of the cans of lentil soup and the bay leaf and put the soup to boil.
When it starts to boil you add the onion, garlic and ham and add salt and pepper to taste.
Lower the heat and boil for about 10 minutes and cover the pot.
Let the soup rest for 15 minutes.
Serve it hot and enjoy.

PRESENTATION

Serve in bowls with garlic-flavored croutons or sliced toast.

TIPS

You can add a small piece of Serrano ham with a little meat to give a better flavor to this rich soup.
