Lentils with Banana

  • 2 cups vegetable broth, or chicken
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • plantain, fried to decorate

  • Heat a small pot over medium heat and cook the bacon until the fat is loose, add the plantain and fry for 3 minutes with the onion and garlic.
  • Add the lentils, the Del Fuerte® Spiced Tomato Puree, filled with vegetable or chicken broth, cook for 40 minutes or until the lentils are soft, season to your liking.
